Saving a Cloning Configuration File Locally

Saving a Cloning Configuration File Locally

After you finish configuring the data-cloning job, save the configuration file.
  1. To save the Fast Clone configuration file on the local computer, perform one of the following actions:
    • On the menu bar, click
      File
      Save
      .
    • On the toolbar, click the
      Generate and save configuration file
button. The Fast Clone Console generates the configuration file in the current working directory.
To change the directory, specify an
      Output directory
      value on the
      Runtime Settings
tab. For more information, see Configuring Runtime Settings.
  2. If you selected source columns that are encrypted with Oracle Transparent Data Encyrption (TDE) when creating the configuration file, open the Oracle wallet:
    1. Click
      Specify PKCS#12 wallet
      and open the wallet file.
    2. Enter a valid password in the
      PKCS#12 password
      field.
    3. Click
      Open
      .
The Fast Clone Console opens the wallet and writes master key IDs and values to the configuration file.
