Scheduling the Export Job Immediately

Scheduling the Export Job Immediately

When you select the
Schedule Now
option for the export job, Data Archive triggers a Data Privacy Export job and then opens the
Monitor Jobs
page.
  1. On the
    Monitor Jobs
page, expand the Data Privacy Export job to view the job steps.
  2. When the "validate" job step is complete, Data Archive pauses the export job. Before you can resume the job, you must review the Data Privacy Validation Report. If you resume the job without validating the report, the export job fails.
  3. Expand the job details of the "validate" step and click the
    Review Data Privacy Validation
    .
    The
    Review Data Privacy Validation Report
    window opens.
  4. Review the report details. Verify that the index row count matches the actual row count for each record.
  5. To download a .zip file of PDF reports that list the data that the job will export, click the
    View Report
link for each row. Data Archive generates a PDF report for each table.
  6. To approve or reject the data for export, select a report row and click the
    Approve
    or
    Reject
button at the top of the report. Alternatively, you can click the green checkmark in the
    Action
column to approve the records for export or the red "X" to reject the records for export.
After you approve or reject the records, the status column reflects the action you have taken. If you have not approved or rejected a record, the status remains as "No Action." You must approve or reject each record in the validation report. If you do not approve or reject each record and try to resume the export job, the job fails at the "export" job step.
  7. Once you have approved or rejected all of the records in the validation report, return to the
    Monitor Jobs
page and resume the Data Privacy Export job.
The job proceeds through the remaining steps to export the validated data. During the "export" job step, Data Archive exports the data validated in the "validate" job step. In the job details for the "export" step, you can click the
    View Exported Data
link to download a .zip file that contains the exported data in the specified file format. In the "delete report data" job step, Data Archive deletes the data generated in the validation step.
