Using Data Privacy Purge

Using Data Privacy Purge

After you verify that the table indexes are up-to-date and identify a record or records with Data Privacy search, you can purge the records from Data Vault. Records that are on legal hold will not be purged.
  1. After you have searched for the records that you want to purge, click the
    Purge
    button next to the
    Search Subject
    text box.
    The
    Purge
    pop-up window appears.
  2. In the text box, enter a reason for the purge.
  3. Click
    Schedule Now
to schedule the purge job to run immediately, or click
    Add to Batch
to schedule the purge job at a later time with other Data Privacy jobs.
Depending on whether you scheduled the job to run immediately or added the job to a batch, complete one of the following tasks.
