Configuring lookup sources

Configuring lookup sources

Optionally, augment the source data with one or more lookup sources.
  1. On the
    Lookup Sources
     page, select
    Yes
     to add lookup sources to the task.
    If you do not want to configure a lookup source, select
    No
    .
  2. Click
    Add Lookup Source
    .
  3. Perform the following steps to configure the source:
    1. Select the source connection and source object.
      To create a connection, click
      New
      . To edit a connection, click
      View
      , and the in
      View Connection
       dialog box, click
      Edit
      .
    2. Configure the lookup return fields.
    3. Select how the task handles multiple matches.
    4. For file sources, configure formatting options.
    5. If preview data does not appear automatically, expand the
      Data Preview
       area to preview the source data.
    6. Configure one or more lookup conditions.
  4. Optionally, repeat steps 2-3 to add additional lookup sources.
    You can configure up to five lookup sources.
  5. Optionally, configure data filters for the combined sources.
  6. Click
    Next
