Example 2: PGP Decrypt a Set of Files

Follow the steps below to decrypt a list of files from an Input Files Variable:
  1. From within the Project Designer page, expand the File Encryption folder in the Component Library, and then drag the PGP Decrypt task to the Project Outline.
  2. On the Basic tab of the PGP Decrypt task, specify the following values:
    • Select the Key Ring (OpenPGP Key Ring Resource) that contains the OpenPGP keys.
    • For the Passphrase attribute, specify the passphrase of your private (or secret) key. This is the passphrase you used when you first created your Key Pair.  
    • For the Input Files Variable attribute, specify a variable to process a list of files that was received from your trading partner (which would have been populated from another task like FTP or SFTP).
    • For the Output Directory attribute, specify the directory to store the decrypted files.
  3. Click the
    Save
    button to save the task.
