PowerExchange for Essbase Connections

When you configure a Essbase connection, you define the connection attributes that the PowerCenter Integration Service uses to connect to Essbase.

The following table describes the Essbase connection properties that you must configure:

Connection Attribute	Description
User Name	User name to connect to Essbase.
Password	Password to connect to Essbase.
ServerHost	Essbase server name.
Application	Name of the application. Default is none. For a Unicode application, specify the name of the Unicode application.
Database	Name of the database. Default is none.
