User Interface Design Prerequisites

Before you design the
Data Director
user interface, perform the following prerequisite tasks:
  1. Configure the MDM Hub.
  2. Create user roles that need access to the user interface layouts. You create user roles in the MDM Hub Console.
  3. Create a source system with which you want to associate the application. You create source systems in the MDM Hub Console.
  4. Create a
    Data Director
    application.
  5. Define the business entity models.
  6. If you want to use the user interface to manage business entity relationships, create the relationship types that you want to manage.
  7. If you want to design the user interface to display a view of a business entity, create business entity views.
