Logging In to the Provisioning Tool

Logging In to the Provisioning Tool

To log in, you need the URL for the Provisioning tool and your user credentials. The URL contains the MDM Hub server host name and port number. If you do not have this information, contact your MDM administrator.
  1. Open a supported browser.
  2. Enter the URL for the Provisioning tool using one of the following formats:
    Secure connections.
https://<MDM Hub Server host name>:<MDM Server port number>/provisioning/
    Non-secure connections.
http://<MDM Hub Server host name>:<MDM Server port number>/provisioning/
    The
    Log In
    page opens.
  3. Enter your user name and password.
  4. Click
    Log In
    .
  5. Select the database for which you want to configure business entities.
The Provisioning tool opens and displays the
    Home
    workspace.
If you encounter issues, try the following solutions:
  • If the application does not launch, contact your MDM administrator. The administrator might need to restart the application server.
  • If you cannot log in to the application and you are already running another MDM application in the browser, open a new browser window to log in to the application. The issue occurs because the application server that runs the MDM Hub uses the same session ID for both applications.
