Record View and Review Task Layout Type

Record View and Review Task Layout Type

The Record View and Review Task layout type is the most flexible type of record view layout that you can design. You can use the same layout to manage both records and tasks. Or, you can create separate layouts for records and review tasks.

Record View Layout Type

You can design custom record views to create or view records. You can also design views to merge duplicate records, unmerge merged records, view record history, or view hierarchical relationships between records.
To design custom record views that can replace the default record views, select the same purpose and use the same primary component as the default record views. Then add the secondary and custom components that you want.

To use the same layout for the Business Entity view and Review Tasks, select all options on the

page of the Layout Designer.

Review Task Layout Type

You can design a record view layout to manage review tasks in the Task Manager, such as reviewing new records or edited records. A typical review task layout contains the Record Details component and any secondary or custom components that you want.
