Additional Page Layouts

Additional Page Layouts

Additional pages can provide access to information that users need in addition to the
Home
page. You can design multiple additional page layouts that are applicable to multiple user roles or applicable to unique user roles.
An additional page layout can contain primary, secondary, and custom components. For example, you can design an additional page layout with a component that connects to an external web application like the Informatica Data Quality dashboard.
When you design an additional page layout, you select a template that can fully display the components that you want. For example, to display a Chart component, the template must have a panel that is big enough to display the chart fully.
When you design an additional page layout, the Provisioning tool creates a custom tab to which the additional page layout is associated. In
Data Director
, users access the additional page by clicking the custom tab in the navigation bar.
The following image shows an additional page in
Data Director
with the Chart component and the Task Inbox component: The additional page in Data Director contains one primary component and one secondary component. Each component is in one panel. The primary component on the page is a task inbox. The secondary component on the page is a chart.
