Migrating and Sharing Saved Queries

When an MDM administrator migrates a

Data Director

configuration from one environment to another, the saved queries are not migrated. You need to export the queries from the source

Data Director

application and then import the queries into the target

Data Director

application.

You can migrate all the saved queries in the application or migrate individual saved queries. When you migrate queries, if the target application contains queries that have the same names as the queries in the source application, the queries are renamed. For example, if a query with the name

PersonQuery

already exists in the target environment, the query is renamed to

PersonQuery 1

Also, you can share the saved queries with other users, who can import the queries into their application. You are the owner of the queries that you import into your application.
