Saving Search Queries

Saving Search Queries

To save a query so you can use it again, save it in the query builder. When you save a query, Informatica Data Director recognizes you as the owner of the query.
  1. On the Search tab, select
    Save
    from the
    Actions
    menu. If you want to save it under a different name, click
    Save As
    instead.
  2. In the Save window, you can specify a different query name.
  3. Indicate whether you want to make this your default query.
  4. Depending on your environment and role, you might have the option to mark this query as Public, which allows others to use it as well.
  5. Click
    Save.
