Resolving Duplicate Records

Resolving Duplicate Records

Use the
Matching Records
view to identify duplicate records. You can resolve the duplicate records by merging them. To merge records, your user role must include the merge permission.
You can resolve the duplicate records by using the basic
Matching Records
view or the advanced
Matching Records
view. Use the basic
Matching Records
view when you want to merge only the duplicate parent records. To merge the duplicate parent and child records, use the advanced
Matching Records
view. Your application might have one or both the
Matching Records
views configured.
If your MDM administrator created a custom view for this purpose, the name of the view might be different.
