Creating Node Groups

Creating Node Groups

You can create node groups in the
Data Flow Design
tab or the
Node Group Management
tab of the Administrator tool.
  1. In the Administrator tool, on the
    Domain
    tab, click
    Services and Nodes
    .
  2. In the Domain Navigator, select the Edge Data Streaming Service.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the
    Edge Data Streaming Service
    panel, select the
    Edge Data Streaming
    tab.
  4. Create node groups in the
    Data Flow Design
    tab or the
    Node Group Management
    tab.
    To create node groups in the
    Node Group Management
    tab, perform the following steps:
    1. In the
      Node Groups
      panel, right-click on one of the following node groups and specify the properties:
      • Dynamic Node Group. Specify the group name and the regular expression pattern for the node names.
      • Normal Node Group. Specify the group name.
    2. Click
      OK

    To create node groups in the
    Data Flow Design
    tab, perform the following steps:
    1. Select the
      Data Flow Design
      tab.
    2. Select a data flow.
    3. Select an entity in the data flow.
    4. Click
      Add Node Groups
      in the
      Node Groups
      panel and click one of the following node groups:
      • Dynamic Node Group. Specify the group name and the regular expression pattern for the node names.
      • Normal Node Group. Specify the group name.
