Monitoring Edge Data Streaming Nodes

Monitoring
Edge Data Streaming
Nodes

You can monitor the
EDS Node
s associated with a data flow in a
EDS
deployment in the
Data Flow Monitor
pane of the
Monitoring
tab.
You can view the following information for a
EDS Node
:
  • The number of
    EDS Node
    s associated with each
    source service
    and
    target service
    . The count appears within the associated source service and target service.
  • The
    EDS Node
    s appear as colored boxes within the
    source service
    and
    target service
    .
  • The state of a
    EDS Node
    . Click a data flow in the
    Data Flow Monitor
    pane to see if the
    EDS Node
    is active or inactive.
The following table describes the colors associated with the
EDS Node
count:
Color
State Description
Green
Indicates the active
EDS Node
s for a source service or target service.
Red
Indicates the inactive
EDS Node
s for a source service or target service.
